5. Warranty and Support

Throughout your lease period, warranty and support are provided. Any problems or help you require will be completely covered, subject to the terms of your lease agreement.

Warranty and support may not cover damage caused by misuse, vandalism, unauthorized relocation, unauthorized modifications, theft, severe abuse, power misuse, third-party interference, or conditions outside normal operation unless otherwise agreed in writing.

 

6. Installation and Site Access

The customer is responsible for providing reasonable access to the installation site and confirming that SkyGuard Security has permission to install, service, and access the equipment at the requested location.

 

The customer is also responsible for notifying SkyGuard Security of any site conditions that may affect installation or operation, including restricted access, hazards, unstable ground, limited visibility, weak signal areas, power limitations, or property rules.

 

7. Connectivity and Remote Access

​

SkyGuard Security systems may use cellular, Wi-Fi, or other network connections depending on the selected setup and site conditions.

 

Remote access, notifications, cloud services, and live viewing may depend on cellular signal strength, internet availability, third-party service providers, device compatibility, and system configuration.

 

If cellular or internet connectivity is weak or lost, the system may continue recording locally when supported by the installed equipment. Remote access and cloud-related features may resume once connectivity is restored.

 

8. Video Recording and Customer Responsibility

The customer is responsible for using the surveillance system in compliance with applicable laws, property rules, privacy requirements, and workplace policies.

 

The customer is responsible for determining where cameras are placed and ensuring that cameras are not used in prohibited or private areas where recording is not allowed.

 

SkyGuard Security does not provide legal advice regarding surveillance laws. Customers should consult legal counsel if they have questions about recording laws, signage, employee notification, audio recording, or privacy requirements.

 

9. Payments and Lease Terms

Payment amounts, billing dates, lease duration, deposits, cancellation terms, late fees, and any additional charges will be outlined in a separate quote, invoice, or lease agreement.

 

Service may be paused, limited, or terminated for non-payment, misuse of equipment, unauthorized equipment changes, or violation of the lease agreement.

 

10. Quotes and Availability

All quotes are estimates unless confirmed in writing. Final pricing may depend on equipment configuration, installation requirements, site conditions, connectivity needs, distance, service level, and lease duration.

 

SkyGuard Security reserves the right to refuse service, modify recommendations, or adjust pricing before a lease agreement is finalized.

 

11. No Guaranteed Prevention of Crime

SkyGuard Security systems are designed to improve visibility, monitoring, deterrence, and site awareness. However, no security system can guarantee that theft, vandalism, trespassing, property damage, or other incidents will not occur.

 

SkyGuard Security is not responsible for criminal acts, unauthorized entry, property loss, business interruption, or damages caused by third parties.

 

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, SkyGuard Security is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost business, lost data, property loss, or business interruption.
